Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
Currently, paid up-capital of the bank is Birr 4.733 Billion/ Four Billion Seven Hundred Thirty three Million Birr as of June 30, 2023, and the number of share holders reached 4,437/ Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Seven.

Position 1: Branch Manager – Interest Free Banking
Required Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with four (4) years of experience of which two (2) years should be at Senior position; or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with five (5) years of experience of which two (2) should be at Senior position.
The Manager responsible for to support the branch information requirement by compiling comprehensive IFB performance related data about branches. The manager also responsible for producing various guidelines and IFB customer information useful for enhancing resource mobilization.

Position 2: Manager – Interest Free Banking
Educational Level and work Experience: Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with Six(6) years of experience of which two (2) years should be at Senior position; or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with Eight(8) years of experience of which two (2) should be at Senior position.
The Manager plans and coordinates the overall activities of the branch, and follows-up and evaluates Branch’s operations/targets on established performance parameters. He/she motivates and coaches the customer service officers responsible for the delivery of high quality service. He/she identifies and recruits potential customers and provides professional advice.
