Standard Minimum Qualification:

Education:

  • Advanced University degree, preferably in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Societal Sciences, Business Administration, Public Policy or any other field, and a First University Degree with additional work experience or training/courses.

Experience:

  • at least five (5) years of postgraduate professionally responsible experience, either in either the public or private sector, demonstrating the highest level of efficiency
  • An understanding of the CBT Project management that includes experience in at least one stage of analysis and assessments of the design, implementation or M&E or experience in the cycle of policy beginning with the agenda and ending with formulating, adopting, and assessment of national policies
  • Experiential knowledge in food assistance, as well as cash-based transfer programming in the development, setup evaluation and implementation of multiple delivery mechanisms using various transfer modes, is an important asset that is highly sought-after.

Language:

  • Ability to speak and write in both written communications in English. The ability to speak the language of the country is a major advantage.

  • Experiential experience in field operations, especially in a difficult job site or emergency.
