Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.

Currently, paid up-capital of the bank is Birr 4.733 Billion/ Four Billion Seven Hundred Thirty three Million Birr as of June 30, 2023, and the number of share holders reached 4,437/ Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Seven.

The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors.

Position 1: Administrative Assistant

Required Education and Experience: BA/Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management/ Administrative Service Management with 2/4 (two/four) years related work experience.

Place of work: Head Office and Hawassa District

Position 2: Store Keeper – I

Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Procurement and supplies Management/Supplies Management/Management/Accounting, or business related field of study with a minimum of 2(two) years in property management related work experience.

Place of work: Dessie District

Position 3: Human Capital Development Officer

Job Summery

Required Education and Experience: Minimum BA Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or Management or Public administration with a minimum of 3(three) years related work experience in human resource management.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 4: Customer Service Supervisor – Grade – 1

Job Summery

Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Economics/ Accounting/ Management/ Business Administration/ Finance and Accounting or business related field of study with a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in banking operations.

Place of work: Arsi Branch

Position 5: Chief Security Officer

Required Education and Experience: BA in Police Science from police college with a minimum of 5(Five) years’ work experience security/military activities.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 6: Branch Manager – Grade – 1

Required Education and Experience:BA Degree in Management/ Economics/ Accounting & Finance/ Marketing/ Banking & Finance/ Business Administration or other business related field of study with 6(Six) years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2(two) year in supervisory position.

Place of work: Hajialiyu IFB /Worabe Branch
