The Bank of Abyssinia Employers Association is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions.
- Record daily sales transactions and expenses using Peachtree software.
- Reconcile and post subsidiary ledgers with general ledgers.
- Prepare and verify cash payments and receipts, ensuring proper documentation.
- File and declare monthly taxes, including income tax, pension contributions, withholding tax, VAT, and others.
- Maintain and control inventory records, reconciling accounts for accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare regular reports for inventory valuation and manage employee payroll.
- Monitor daily cash flow and maintain fixed asset records.
- Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
Job Requirements:
- Education: B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience, preferably in merchandising, construction, manufacturing, or similar industries.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax laws.
- Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Self-confidence and time management skills.
