Position: Market Supply & Sales Officer (Motorcycle-Based)
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma. (MUST)
- Excellent English (MUST)
- Valid driver’s license (ADVANTAGE)
- excellent driving record (no history of major accidents within the last 3 years) (ADVANTAGE)
- Experience of at least 1 year driving similar vehicle (ADVANTAGE)
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the vegetable and herb industry, including product quality and pricing trends.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work in dependently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations (restaurants, hotels, supermarkets) using a motorcycle to ensure they have sufficient stock of vegetables and herbs.
- Identify and report any gaps in product availability, potential stock shortages, and quality issues.
- Monitor and enforce proper shelving arrangements in supermarkets and display areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Gather daily market prices for vegetables and herbs and report to management.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, upholding excellent communication and customer service standards.
- Assist in administrative tasks, such as order documentation, reporting sales trends, and providing feedback to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and best practices while riding the motorcycle.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Salary: Based on company salary scale/ 18 ETB gross starting salary + benefits
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
