Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
Currently, paid up-capital of the bank is Birr 4.733 Billion/ Four Billion Seven Hundred Thirty three Million Birr as of June 30, 2023, and the number of share holders reached 4,437/ Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Seven.

Position 1: Store Keeper – I
Qualifications: BA Degree in Procurement and supplies Management/Supplies Management/Management/Accounting, or business related field of study with a minimum of 2(two) years in property management related work experience.

Position 2: Facility Engineer (Mechanical)
Qualifications: BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (Preferably in Banking Industry).
Place of work: Head office
Position 3: Branch Manager – Grade – 1
Qualifications: BA Degree in Management/ Economics/ Accounting & Finance/ Marketing/ Banking & Finance/ Business Administration or other business related field of study with 6(Six) years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2(two) year in supervisory position.
