Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services.
Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.
Position 1: Junior Sales Associate
Qualifications:
- BA degree in business management, marketing, Economics or related field
- 1-3 years of professional sales experience, preferably in the automotive or B to C retail sector with products with relatively high value (100,000 ETB or above)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Result-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work 6 days a week on shift
- Fluency in English and Amharic
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong passion for serving customers
Preferred Skills:
- Ride motorbikes or electric bikes
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks

Position 2: Junior Showroom Assistant
Qualifications:
- Degree in any field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or reception role (retail experience a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Able to operate a cash register machine
- Proficient in computer use (Word, Excel, Google applications).
- A positive and professional demeanor with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position 3: Junior Graphic Designer
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, video production, or related fields.
- Experience working with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Skills:
- Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in video editing and production, including familiarity with camera equipment.
- Strong photo editing and retouching skills using tools like Light room or Photoshop.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies.
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics or animation using tools like After Effects.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and understanding of social media content requirements.

Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media, videos, graphics, etc.).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or similar.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), Canva, or other content design tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to written and visual content.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Experience with video editing software or apps (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or mobile alternatives).
- Creativity & Communication:
- Strong creative writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone.
- Ability to produce content that is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand voice.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in direct sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets, preferably in a leadership role within the automotive or technology sectors.
- Expertise in direct sales techniques and the management of sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team towards meeting ambitious sales goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong customer relationships and promoting team cohesion.
- Commitment to providing top-notch customer service, with a passion for coaching team members to excel in customer interactions and sales performance.
