Quality Assurance(QA) Officer
Future Hopes Integrated Development Organization (FHIDO) is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, secular, legally registered Ethiopian resident charity working to building self-reliant and self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through comprehensive and sustainable development approach.
Currently FHIDO is operational over the ten districts of Arada sub-city in four core programmatic areas namely, Early Childhood Development (ECD), Basic Education, Youth Development and OVC care and support project.
FHIDO is currently looking for competent, qualified and interested applicants for FHIDO, USAID Family-focused HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Program that will be implemented in partnership with Mekdim Ethiopia National Association (MENA) on the following position.
Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Officer would be responsible to ensure functional QI team that convenes regular QI team meetings with meeting minutes across all SDPs, extract data from the database, identify opportunities for improvement, and present findings to Quality Improvement at different level, conduct regular monthly Lot quality assessment sampling (LQAS) in respective SDPs and report the outcome and action plan for the management, provide continuous technical support to bases in the application of quality of health care in the community together with M&E specialist, conduct regular monthly Routine Data Quality Assessment (RDQA) and report the outcome and action plan for the management develop interventions based on best practices to address the root causes of service delivery gaps, ensure that QI projects are designed, implemented, and monitored using appropriate quality measures based on the quality gap assessment and others.

Term of employment: The terms of employment for the position is one-year contract with possible extension based on proven performance and availability of fund.

Job Requirements
Education:
- BSc in Nursing, Public Health or MSC in related discipline
Experience:
- A minimum of (5 years for BSC and 3 years for MSC) work experience (preferably in NGO setting) with similar position; experience working with Community HIV Care and Treatment Activity is advantageous.
Required Skill:
- Demonstrated experience in community HIV care and treatment provision of which two years is in Family Focused HIV Prevention Care Treatment
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement/assurance activities in Community HIV Prevention Care and Treatment setting
- He/she must have good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical and community service providers and government stakeholders
Community Engagement Facilitators
Position Summary
Community Engagement Facilitator would be responsible to conduct community based HIV testing based on clients’ preference, conduct assisted HIV self-test for eligible clients at community, facilitate referral linkage from community to health facility and vice versa for ICT case management for PLHIV in the community including recording and reporting using paper-based system which later migrates to Comm care application, build capacity of CRPs (Volunteers) through providing trainings, mentoring and close follow up, coordinate community stakeholders for effective communication on client’s referral and other services.

Job Requirements
Education:
- BSc or Diploma in Nursing
Experience:
- A minimum of (4 years for Diploma and 2 years for BSC) (preferably in NGO) with similar position.
Required Skill:
- Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills
- HIV Self-test and HIV testing training on new national algorism.
- COC Certificate for level IV applicants.
- Professional registration and license from concerned health office
- Basic (spoken and written) skill in English and Local Language
- Ability to Coordinate and Support volunteers working in the community
- Demonstrated Knowledge and Skill in HIV Counseling and testing; on PITC and ICT.
