Hybrid Designs PLC (Ride), an innovative IT company in Addis Ababa, is launching an online platform to enable travelers hail a RIDE on demand. RIDE is the largest taxi booking platform in Ethiopia, primarily operating in Addis Ababa and Djibouti. Founded by Samrawit Fikru, it has become one of the most recognized brands in Ethiopia over 11 years.
Hybrid Designs PLC entered the RIDE hailing market in 2014 with a vision to make transportation in the capital safe, affordable and convenient through technology.

Position: Associate Reception Officer
Desired Qualification:
- BA in Secretarial Science, MIS or related.
- 2+ Year Experience in office administration, receptionist, salesperson & customer handling or related
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine guests and customer need in a professional way and link with concerned manager.
- Receives letters, telex, telegram and telephone calls in a way that record name, time of call, nature of business, person called upon and transmit same to the concerned individual.
- Receives guests, registers them and responds to their inquiries in timely and polite manner.
- Direct visitor to correct person Answer Telephone Calls, clearly determine the purpose of the call and forward to the appropriate person or department effectively and efficiently
- Take and deliver messages accurately and completely either emailed or via Teams
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Record income received onto a database.
- Assist the Executive Assistant and various departments with administrative support as required ie. drafting letters. maintaining databases, receive goods, and keep in record.
- Assist store keeper, HR when required.
- Manage taxi bookings as required with pre-approved sales manager.
- Ensure the Reception Area is neat and tidy
- Follows up, checks & customer complaints and register on book.
- Assists guests through telephone by alarming for wake-up upon inquiry.
- Ascertains requirements of guests and answers inquiries related to services up to their satisfaction.
- Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Salary and Benefits:
- Based on the company’s new salary scale.
- Additional benefits include DH Allowance and Commission Payment.
