Tekhaf Trading invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. 

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Job summary

• The Junior Accountant (cashier) is responsible to collect repayment from clients designated to him/her and deposits to bank on time. He/ she prepares cash collection summary for the amount collected, effects payments when authorized by delegated authority, keeps records of cash payment and reconciles cash balances with records.

Educational requirements: BA/Diploma in Accounting and Finance or related fields.

Relevant work experience: 0/2 years’ experience in cash collection and disbursement operations in large entities with trading, agricultural, and transport sector involvement is advantageous.

Desired training: Finance management tools like ERP, FMIS, IFRS, etc.

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required

Position 2: Stock Controller

Job summary

• The Stock Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory levels within TEKHAF. This role ensures that stock levels are accurately maintained, orders are processed efficiently, and inventory records are up-to-date. The Stock Controller will work closely with the procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure that stock levels meet the demands of the business while minimizing excess inventory and stock outs.

Educational requirements: BA/ Diploma / Level 4 in Supply Chain Management/ Property Management

Relevant work experience: 0/2 years of relevant experience

Desired training: Procurement management tools like ERP, MRP

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required.

Position 3: Senor Tractor Mechanic

Job summary

• The Senior Tractor mechanic, under the overall leadership of the Head, is responsible for the operational duties of the team is responsible to perform all required mechanical, planned & corrective maintenance of Transport vehicles, and company owned vehicles and manage battery charging operations of vehicles.

Educational requirements: MSc//BSc/ Diploma / Level 4 in Auto mechanics

Relevant work experience: 4/6/8 years’ in Auto maintenance related activities, etc. in large entities with agricultural, and trading sector involvement is advantageous. Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing maintenance/ auto manuals, systems, policies and standards is a benefit

Desired training: Maintenance management tools like systems, software,  etc

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required.

Position 4: Executive Secretary

Job summary

• The Executive Secretary, under the overall leadership of the Managing Director serves as secretary of committees as and when necessary, prepares and replies letters of routine nature, screens visitors and schedules appointments for the Managing Director and organizes meeting and conferences as assigned, and other related functions in the Office of the Managing Director

Educational requirements: BA/Diploma in Office Management/ Management

Relevant work experience: 6/8 years of relevant experience in Office administration, secretarial, record management, communication, and other related functions in large business entities with transport agricultural, and trading (import/export) sector involvement is advantageous.

Desired training: Office management tools like MIS, Records Management, MS Office, etc.

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required.

Position 5: Store keeper

Job summary

• The officer, under the overall leadership of the Manager, Procurement & Property Administration Services and guidance of Senior Warehouse officer, is responsible for the operational duties of the team like preparing warehouse reports, gathering warehouse data, and follows up the implementation of warehousing standards throughout the company.

Educational requirements: BSc /BA/ Diploma/ Level 4 in Supply Chain Management/ Property Management.

Relevant work experience: 2/4 years’ experience in designing and processing effective Supply (warehouse) system in large entities with trading, agricultural, and transport sector involvement is advantageous. Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing Supply (warehouse) manuals, systems, policies and standards is a benefit.

Desired training: Procurement management tools like ERP, MRP, MPS, etc.

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required.

Position 6: Senior Heavy truck Mechanic

Job summary

• The Senior Heavy truck mechanic, under the overall leadership of the Head, is responsible for the operational duties of the team is  responsible to perform all required mechanical, planned & corrective maintenance of Transport vehicles, and company owned vehicles and manage battery charging operations of vehicles

Educational requirements: MSc//BSc/ Diploma / Level 4 in Auto mechanics

Position 7: Tire man

Job summary

• The Tire Technician, commonly referred to as a “Tire Man,” is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires on various types of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of tire maintenance, repair techniques, and safety protocols. The Tire Technician will work closely with drivers and other service team members to ensure that vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Educational requirements: Diploma/ level 4/3/2 in Auto mechanics

Relevant work experience: 2/4/6 years of relevant experience

Duty station: All the positions are based in Addis Ababa. Occasional travel may be required.
