Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian) has had more than 75 years of successful journey which made it the leading Aviation Group in Africa. Of course, Ethiopian is ageing beautifully. Over the decades, the airline has established itself as the leader in all facets of the aviation business: technology leadership, network expansion and aviation mentoring. Ethiopian started its operation with five C-47 aircrafts back in 1946 and made its debut fight to Cairo via Asmara.
Ever since, it has been growing in leaps and bounds, and continued to introduce cutting-edge aviation technology and systems. As aviation technology leader, Ethiopian was a pioneer in ushering in new aviation technology into Africa including the first jet airplane as well as the first B767, B777-200LR, B787 Dreamliner, and787-9 in the continent.
Position 1: SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying field of study with a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experiences.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Oversee the measurement of works, monthly payment requests, quantities quoted, and unit rates applied.
Participate in progress meetings and other meetings related to claims revision and analysis and oversee the preparation and review of variation orders.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
Position 2: SANITARY ENGINEER
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Electrical Engineering field of study with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years in Housing/related projects.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of Sanitary works, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
Position 3: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Electrical Engineering field of study with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years in Housing/related projects.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of electrical works, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
Position 4: CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION ENGINEER
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Civil Engineering field of study with a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experiences.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Oversee and manage all matters related to project contract, payment, claim etc…
Oversee and manage all matters related to project scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
Review and evaluate all requests for time extension.
Review the project master schedules (prepared by Consultants and Contractors) to ensure they are in line with the project key milestones.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
Position 5: SITE ENGINEER/ SUPERVISOR
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Civil Engineering or Architecture field of study with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years in Housing/related projects.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Leading the Construction Management aspects and coordinates between the team members.
Coordinating with the Contractor(s) and Supervision Consultant on issues related to policy, time/cost/quality control, HSE and contractual issues.
Analyzing and investigating early major potential problems that may face the Project so solutions can be found as soon as possible.
Overseeing the works and the issuance of certificates and notifications in accordance with the contract conditions.
Conducting the periodical progress meetings.
Ensuring that Project’s environmental, safety, and quality programs are enforced.
Overseeing Project Closeout.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
