Position: Human Resources and Administrative Assistant

Location: Jijiga, Ethiopia

Areas of responsibility:

  • Organize and maintain common areas in the office.
  • Assist employees in interpreting HR policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain personnel files for new hires and ensure proper documentation.
  • Keep employee files secure and up-to-date (both digital and paper).
  • Manage monthly staff pension and payroll documentation.
  • Execution and documentation of exit management processes, including exit interviews.
  • Participate in recruiting activities: job postings, resume reviews, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Maintain good relationships with external organizations and provide HR-related feedback to management.

Job requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, management or a related field.
  • Experience: No experience required (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Language: Fluency in the local language and excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ethical and professional behavior.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
