Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, Economics, development planning, international relations or related field)
  • The first-level university (Bachelor’s Degree) combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience (Master’s Degree) or 9 years relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Excellent written communication skills, including report writing and editing.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and good organizational skills.

Required Language:

  • English.

Qualification:

Experience:

  • Experience in the development of programmes/projects, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, donor reporting, and capacity building.
  • Experience in the field of gender equality, women empowerment, and specifically VAWG and normative or policy level engagement and experience is an asset.

Language:

  • Fluency in English required
  • Knowledge of the other UN working language is an asset.
