National Insurance invites interested and qualified applicants for the following job positions in the insurance industry.

NICE is the first wholly privately owned insurance company, established in post – 1994 Ethiopia, to engage in general insurance business. Its Head office is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and operates through 40 Branch offices and 5 licensed Contact Offices located in Addis Ababa and different parts of the country. It started business transaction in October 1994.

The company is currently undertaking to attract qualified and skilled manpower to the following positions.

Position 1: Cashier Secretary

  • Qualification:  Minimum of diploma/Level IV in Accounting or Management or related field
  • Experience:   Two years of relevant working experience

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
  • Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Good math/analytical skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Job grade: V

Place of work: Bole Medhanialem Branch Office

Position 2: Surveyor I

  • Qualification: BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Other related field of studies.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Workshop experience

Preferred Skills

  • Having good research and development experience,
  • Believing and willing to work in team work sprit,
  • Good ethical behavior,
  • Good customer handling and serving approach skill,
  • Willingness to accept changes and implement it;
  • No prior disciplinary records
  • Good previous performance history and working discipline;
  • Recommendable/accepted for the position;
  • Willing to accept the given responsibility and
  • Highly committed for overcoming responsibilities;
  • Qty: 2
  • Job grade: VII
